How you think, why your child constantly asks to read it the same fairy tales? Usual picture: you read to the child before going to bed "Little Red Riding Hood". He attentively listened to you, and then, as always, fell asleep a sweet dream. Next day he asks you to esteem to it before going to bed… "Little Red Riding Hood". You read. Next day – again "Little Red Riding Hood". And so – repeatedly. So in what business?

Well, let us assume, it is its favourite fairy tale. And for this reason he constantly asks you to read it. Let’s allow. But if you properly observe the child, you will see, what not in it business. The child can have a favourite fairy tale "Kolobok" or «Three pigs», and he constantly asks "Little Red Riding Hood". It is very frequent such happens.
So, why so occurs? The whole matter is in the understanding. The child cannot understand from the first, about what speech in the fairy tale. Or he cannot understand separate parts of the fairy tale. But he wants to understand everything and consequently asks and asks you to re-read to it same many times.
Here is how it works. I will show on an example of the daughter.
My Anyuta is 5 years old. We communicate with it much. I never impose it the opinion, but periodically I recommend it something. And when my recommendations «in a subject», Anyuta adds them to the arsenal. It concerns a choice of clothes, a hairdress, food and many other.
Recently I decided to consult Anyuta concerning training. I told it about, how it is necessary to study to understand and acquire the studied. She attentively listened to me. It was visible that its it very much interests.
I told it the following: «When I read you the fairy tale, in it the word which you do not understand can meet. If it occurs, the part of the fairy tale to which you listen, will turn into emptiness, that is you will not remember at all about what there was a speech. As a result all fairy tale can become for you unclear».
Ania listened with bated breath. I understood that mentioned subject very close to it. Most likely, it repeatedly faced this "emptiness" and the unique decision for it was – to ask me to re-read the fairy tale next time. I re-read, however there still there were not understood words and emptiness. Thus, we read the same fairy tale again and again.
And here, when I started to tell to Ania about not understood words and emptiness which appears at once after them, Ania lit up. She understood that it is necessary to do, when she wants to acquire information.
Since then each time when I read something to it, she asks me that means this or that word which meets in the fairy tale and which she did not understand. I clear up it these words. If she still does not understand, I again clear up, while she will not nod and will not tell: «Clearly, we read further». And we read further.
Now the picture changed cardinally. Ania any more does not ask me to re-read the same texts repeatedly. We occasionally re-read only favourite fairy tales, in the right frame of mind. And into its habit long ago entered to pass the understood words, and thoroughly to clear up them, before reading further.
It is extremely important to understand completely words from which the text is difficult. It is the integral attribute of competence and high I.Q. Not speed of reading, not cramming, not stupid storing of a material it is necessary to acquire information. The key to wisdom is a full understanding of words which we use in the letter and in speech.
Acquaint the child with the dictionary. And you receive the thoughtful and diligent pupil whom as the sponge will absorb knowledge, without evading from training and without avoiding it.
