The church for the sake of All Sacred – one of the newest, it was quite recently constructed in Ulyanovsk and enters a component into a complex of the Spaso-Voznesensky cathedral under construction. For construction of church donations of inhabitants and the city organizations were used.

Its construction began in 1995 in day of Christmas of John Krestitel, and less than in a year, on a holiday of the Lady day of the Blessed Virgin, the temple was consecrated and open for believers. The church was constructed according to the project of spouses of Leah and Alexander Varyukhinykh. I do not know, than they were guided in the work, but the temple makes indelible impression. The many-domed cathedral aspiring in the sky cannot leave anybody indifferent. In this temple also there are relics of the heavenly patron of Ulyanovsk sacred blissful Andrey.
The Vsekhsvyatsky church is recognized by the spiritual center of the Ulyanovsk Cossacks. At the temple the church school for kids works and sings church chorus, recognized the best in a diocese.

We asked to tell us about this person, and here that heard.
– The boy whom named Alexey, was born in 1961 in the Lvov area in Russian family. His father was a serviceman. Alexey finished local technical school of mechanization of the account and was directed on distribution to work to Kiev. Then there was a service in the Soviet army, return home and again work on the specialty received in technical school.
In 1986 after thorough preparation Alexey arrives in the Leningrad seminary. In 1987 seminarist Alex serves as the psalm reader in the Nicolo-Bogoyavlensky cathedral in Leningrad. It was the cathedral temple of the metropolitan of that time Leningrad and Novgorod (nowadays – the Holy Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill). It was very heavy, after all study in seminary should be combined with work in arrival. He still was the seminarist when it imposed in a dignity диакона. It was made by the vicar of the Leningrad Metropolitanate bishop Tikhvin Prokl.
Alex was appointed to Nikolsky’s staff of a cathedral the diakonom-psalm reader. Bishop Prokl noted Alex and when it was appointed the Ulyanovsk very pastor, received blessing of the metropolitan Leningrad and Novgorod Alex on service young диакона in the Ulyanovsk cathedral for the sake of the Icon of the Blessed Virgin of "Neopalimaya Kupina". It was necessary to Alex Scala to finish the last semester of a seminar course without attending lectures in what it excellently succeeded.
In 1990 of the young protodeacon appointed the secretary of the Ulyanovsk diocesan management. In this position it stayed till 1993 when it on blessing of bishop Prokl directed on extremely difficult site of work. He headed neogenic Spaso-Voznesensky arrival. Arrival appeared without the temple therefore originally it was necessary to be engaged in its construction. For a start constructed Vsekhsvyatsky church, father Alex takes direct part in construction. After temple consecration in April, 1996 it serves in it, being a ktitor, that is the builder, his founder. Works on construction of the Spaso-Voznesensky cathedral at once begin, and again father Alex is at the head of building with the direct participation.
For other person of such cares would suffice much, but the young priest who begun still in 1991 searches of a grave of Blissful Andrey Simbirskogo and has successfully solved this problem, started to collect and prepare materials on canonization of this God’s Flatterer. It was the first canonization for Simbirsk sacred in a face mestnochtimy sacred the Simbirsk diocese and as any new business, she demanded many efforts, but everything came to the end with success.
Canonization took place on June 3, 1998. The found relics were transferred to the temple for the sake of All Sacred Ulyanovsk where rest and until now. In parallel father Alex wrote the first book «A hail of Simbirsk a wonderful praise and a zastupleniye» about sacred blissful Andrey’s life. The book sustained already two reprintings, using great reader’s demand. At the same time together with monk Savvaty father Alex made service sacred and the acathistus to it.
In January, 2001 bishop Prokl made a hirotoniya of protodeacon Alex in a presviter or иерея. Soon priest Alex Scala becomes the member of Diocesan Council, the chairman of parish council of Spaso-Voznesensky arrival, the prior of the Vsekhsvyatsky temple.
Cares becomes more and more. Father Alex carries out courses of lectures on bible history and a katekhizatsiya, teaches on chair of world culture in Ulyanovsk the State university, is engaged in local history work, writes articles and books. Its personal site in 2001 was awarded a silver medal of competition of Internet sites «The world without borders».
Under the direction of father Alex and with his direct participation in the territory of the square of I.N.Ulyanov the Simbirsk Necropolis with a memorable Chapel was restored. At the initiative of father Alex in Ulyanovsk, near that building where from the 20th to the 50th years there was Ulyanovsk UGPU-NKVD-KGB, the monument to victims of political repressions is open.
Father Alex wrote and published a number of books, including such serious historical work, as «Church in bonds», about stories of the Simbirsk and Ulyanovsk diocese in Soviet period, with the most detailed description more than 400 criminal cases on condemnation of clergymen, with detailed biographies more than 1000 subjected to repression persons on «church affairs».
Its works and cares in the Cathedral of the Simbirsk sacred glorified 12 flatterers Bozhiikh. These are Simbirsk New martyrs and confessors, whose acts were documented by father Alex and transferred in the Commission on canonization at the Sacred Synod.
In 2006 father Alex was erected in a dignity of the archpriest, and in 2010 it was appointed decent temples of Ulyanovsk. It would seem, further before it the wide road opens, but on April 3, 2012 he died after a serious illness and is buried as the builder of the Vsekhsvyatsky temple behind its altar…
Here such history of life of the surprising person we listened and went to bow to his memory. In the territory of the Spaso-Voznesensky temple there are two monuments, to two devotees: to priest Alex Scala and God’s person blissful Andrey Simbirskomu.
Nearby on a wall of any shed belonging to church we saw a long photo gallery of the Ulyanovsk temples which have not lived up to now, disgracefully lost in days of communistic board.
Time strongly drew in, and we went further. We should rise by the Wreath.
