The new city represents modern constructions, generally – private houses and hotels in 2-4 floors. Huge grandiose hotels here are not present, though the tendency to increase in their sizes is observed.
Созополь especially suits those who wants to have a rest all family together with children. Thanks to lack of huge buildings a situation here cozy, house. In it also there is an originality and attractiveness of the resort.
One of streets – Ropotamo St. – passes from the city center to a beach and proceeds along it. Because of an abundance of boutiques it represents a continuous supermarket where it is possible to buy everything, from Vietnamese and sunglasses to clothes and souvenirs. On Ropotamo Street around a beach booths with various food and a set of cafe where it is possible cheaply and to eat nourishingly settled down. It is possible to eat and in the city, where continually cafe and restaurants. Food everywhere tasty, portions big.
Ropotamo Street conducts on a beach of the new city. It is necessary to notice that the main beaches in Sozopol two: one – in the old city, the second – in new. The beach of the old city as though is created for children. Here, to plunge, it is necessary to come into water of meters on 60, such flat coast. Sand pure, quite small, all beach infrastructure works. A beach of the new city wide, more than two kilometers at length. Sand amazing, water always the transparent. Happens, however, after strong waves puts to the coast a few algas. But they do not prevent to bathe.

Ropotamo Street behind a beach smoothly passes to Pontik’s Via Street which passes along the coast and reaches a camping to Kavatsita (region of sandy dunes). Here on some kilometers the excellent beach – wide, with clean sand was stretched, and to reach it from Sozoplya it is possible on «паровозике» which goes from the city center. Here it is much less than vacationers, than on city beaches.
Now it is a little about the old city. It is located on the extended peninsula. Acquaintance to it begins from road service station and seaport with Khan Square Krum. On the area there are at once two orthodox temples, extensively every possible boutiques and shops where it is possible to buy all from here disperse.
On the area and on city streets crowds of vacationers day and night go. It is necessary to notice that policemen it is not visible anywhere. However to walk safely here it is possible though all night long.
The old city is magnificent the history, ancient narrow small streets, paved a cobble-stone, bring to the sea where magnificent views open. And everywhere smells as old times. Here it is possible to see buildings, which not one hundred years. Even new buildings are under construction in the same ancient style. There are no hotels, only private houses.
In the Old city archeological excavations are made, they too are available to survey. In the city there are a lot of museums and works of art that gives excellent understanding of the Bulgarian culture.
If to go along the coast from seaport down the street Kraybrezhna and to pass to the viewing avenue, it is possible to round all city on the seashore. From the viewing avenue the beautiful view of the sea and on the new city opens. This fine place for walks at any time.
One more sight Sozopolya – seaport. There is it in an old part of the city, there are a lot of different boats, yachts and various ships. From here it is possible to make sea walk on one of boats.
